Description
Nos 73 and 75 on Side in Newcastle upon Tyne are a house that was later converted into a shop. The building dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century and is constructed of English bond brick with ashlar dressings. It features a Welsh slate roof, with pantiles at the rear. The shop entrance is located on the right side, while the upper floors have plain sash windows with wedge stone lintels and projecting stone sills on the second floor. There is a sill band on the first floor, and the roof includes an elliptical-headed dormer. A brick chimney is located at the left end of the building.
