Description
No. 20 Dean Street is a house with a shop, now functioning as a restaurant and offices. It was built around 1784, with the shop front added around 1900. The building is constructed of English bond brick with ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. It stands four storeys high with attics and has two bays. The shop front is designed in a classical style and includes a right-side entrance. Above the shop, there are plain sash windows with lintels that have false keystones, and projecting stone sills on the upper floors, along with a sill band on the first floor. The roof has an inserted gabled dormer with bargeboards and a brick chimney at one end.
