Description
This is a house, dating from around 1770, with alterations made in the late 19th century. It is constructed of limestone ashlar, with an unseen roof and a moulded stack to the left party wall. The house has a double-depth plan and a basement. The exterior presents a three-window front, rising four storeys including an attic. A coped parapet to the left rises over a forward-facing gable end to the right. A modillion cornice and ground floor platband continue from the right return of No.23 Brock Street to the left. It has six/six-pane sash windows, three of which are in the attic with a blind central window. The reveals of the second, first and ground floor windows are splayed, and there are two windows to the ground floor. A late 19th century half-glazed, bolection moulded four-panel door with a tall overlight is located to the left. The interior was not inspected.
