Description
11 Margaret’s Buildings is a mid-18th century terrace house, now a shop, which was part of a development by John Wood the Younger. It was repaired after bomb damage in 1942. The house is constructed of limestone ashlar with a 20th-century slate roof. The building has a double-depth plan. The exterior features a coped parapet, a stopped cornice, a ground-floor platband, and moulded architraves. It has six/six-pane sash windows without horns to the upper floors, cornices to the first-floor windows, painted sills, and a 20th-century shop front. The interior was not inspected.
