Description
No. 6 Margaret's Buildings is a four-storey building, including an attic storey, constructed from limestone ashlar. It features a double depth plan and has a two-window front. The upper floors have horned plate glass sash windows, with the first-floor windows having splayed reveals; the left window has a lowered sill. The later-added attic storey has a coped parapet and one window to the left, positioned over a stopped cornice. Between the first and second floors, there is a scrolled wrought iron bracket that once supported a shop sign. The ground floor is rendered and includes a modern six-panelled door set into the right side. To the left, the shop is flanked by panelled pilasters with circular central panels. The shop window features a moulded sill and rendered plinth, with one plate glass sheet on the front left and a pane that curves into a central set back glazed door with an over-light. The interior has not been inspected.
