Detached house, set on slope high and back from Camden Road and approached by footpath between it and Belgrave Lodge. Possibly formerly two houses. c1790 extended early and mid C19 with C20 additions. MATERIALS: Painted limestone rubble, render and ashlar, double pitched double Roman tile roofs. PLAN: Double depth with C20 rear extension. EXTERIOR: Two storeys to front, one to rear, four-window range. House constructed in three sections, double pitched roof of left hand block higher, centre block, and right hand block has lean-to roof. Plate glass sash windows, coped parapet and returned cornice. To first floor left Venetian window with panelled internal shutters, three narrower plain windows to centre and right. Similar windows below to ground floor, C20 door to centre. Rubblestone left return has no windows, two windows to first floor of right return with single storey block below. INTERIOR: Not inspected.
