Description

The Old Mill is a building that originally served as mill offices and a carriage house, and it has been converted into a house. It dates from the early to mid 19th century and is constructed of ashlar and coursed squared rubble, topped with a 20th-century tiled roof featuring coped raised verges.

The south-west elevation is two storeys high and has two bays. It features a round-headed carriage entry on the left, a round-headed cast iron glazed window in the center, and a doorway on the right. On the first floor, there are two additional round-headed windows, with a large one on the left that includes French windows and a 20th-century balcony.

The south-east elevation rises to four storeys and consists of four bays, all with round-headed cast iron glazed windows that have keystones. The top floor has three of these windows, and there is a clock above them. To the right, there is a 20th-century door, and on the left, there is a blocked segmental-headed opening.
