Description
Bonnington Mills House is a mid-19th century former mill that was restored and converted into a residential property around 1985. It is a two-storey building with an attic and features four bays. The structure is built of rubble with ashlar margins and has a harled rear.
On the southeast, or principal elevation, there is a projecting two-bay gable at the center that breaks the eaves. To the left of this gable is a tripartite entrance with sidelights, while a window is located to the right. The remaining bays have windows, and the upper floor has regular fenestration, with no window to the right of the gable and two smaller windows in the attic.
The northwest, or rear elevation, has windows with projecting cills in each bay on the first floor, along with rooflights. The property features timber sash and case windows, primarily with 12-pane glazing, and 6-pane glazing in the attic. The roof is covered with grey slates and has gablehead stacks with terracotta cans and skews.
