Bonnyhaugh House, Bonnington Mills, 71 Newhaven Road, Edinburgh

Bonnyhaugh House, located at Bonnington Mills on Newhaven Road in Edinburgh, is a former mill building dating from the mid-19th century that was remodelled and converted around 1983. It is a three-storey, three-bay structure that now serves as a residential property, with No 7 adjoining to the left at ground level. The building is constructed from rubble with ashlar margins, featuring a forestair, margins on the ground and principal floors, and projecting cills at the first floor.

On the northeast (principal) elevation, there is an entrance to the forestair at ground level, with an additional entrance to the right. The principal floor has a central entrance and windows in the remaining bays, along with three gable-headed dormers that break the eaves above. The entrance to No 7 is located in the centre, accompanied by a window to the right and a rooflight.

The southwest (rear) elevation includes three basement doors to the right, windows at the first floor, and three gable-headed dormers breaking the eaves above. There are also two windows for No 7.

The building features timber sash and case windows with 8-pane glazing, a roof covered with graded grey slates and pantiles for No 7, and gablehead stacks with terracotta cans.
