4 And 5 Bonnyhaugh Lane, Newhaven, Edinburgh

4 and 5 Bonnyhaugh Lane are mid 19th century, restored around 1985, two-storey, four-bay terraced former mill houses. The buildings are harled with ashlar margins and have projecting cills at the ground floor and first floor, as well as a projecting porch.

On the principal elevation facing southeast, there are seven bays at the ground level, with the entrance located in the third bay. A piended porch is situated at the outer right, with an entrance in the return to the left. The remaining bays feature windows, with smaller windows in bays four and five. The upper floor has regular fenestration, with smaller windows in the second bay.

The northwest (rear) elevation has windows in five bays on the first floor, with a smaller window in the center. The southwest (gable) elevation features a blank gable wall.

The buildings have timber sash and case windows with 12- and 9-pane glazing, pantiles and grey slate roofing, an eaves course, skews, and a gablehead stack with terracotta cans.
