Description

Mid 19th century with later alterations. Paired of 2-storey 3- and 4-bay houses with lean-to additions to rear. Harled and painted.

Raised and painted surrounds to openings.

E (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: 3-bay house to left: advanced full-height gabled entrance bay; doorway; boarded door; letterbox fanlight; windows at 1st floor above and to left and right returns. Bipartite windows with single windows at 1st floor above in bays flanking gabled bay. 4-bay house to right; doorway in penultimate bay to right; boarded door; letterbox fanlight; single window at 1st floor above. Single windows to both floors in remaining bays.

W (REAR) ELEVATION: lean-to additions to both houses; irregular disposition of windows at 1st floor.

S ELEVATION: large flat-roofed timber and glass addition at ground; single window at 1st floor.

N ELEVATION: blank gable.

Plate glass sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; coped and harled ridge and gablehead stacks.

BOUNDARY WALL: drystone wall dividing properties and fronting road.
