Description

Valley Dene is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay symmetrical house that is part of a terrace on a sloping site. It features a single-storey, two-bay addition to the northwest. The exterior is finished with cream harling, complemented by painted lintels and margins.

On the northeast elevation, which serves as the entrance, there is a central doorway with a panelled door that has glazed upper panels. Above this door, there is a single window on the first floor, along with windows in the flanking bays. The single-storey addition is recessed to the outer right and includes a doorway in the second bay with a boarded door and a letterbox fanlight, as well as a single window in the first bay.

The house has four-pane glazing in its sash and case windows, a grey slate roof, and brick gablehead and ridge stacks.
