Description
1 Waukford is an early 19th century, 2-storey, 3-bay rectangular-plan house located on Mill Drive in Kirk Yetholm. It features a rear addition and a garage on the side. The exterior is finished in cream harling with painted stone surrounds around the openings, raised window surrounds, and quoin strips.
On the west elevation, the entrance is centrally located with a raised surround and cornice, and there is a single window above it on the first floor. The left bay contains bipartite windows with timber mullions, while the right bay has a single window at ground level and another single window on the first floor.
The south elevation includes a single window on the first floor and a lean-to garage. The east elevation, which is partially visible, shows a 2-storey flat-roofed addition on the outer right and a single window at the center of the first floor.
The house features 12-pane glazing in sash and case windows, a grey slate roof, and harled gablehead stacks on the north and south sides.
