Description

Late 18th century, remodelled or rebuilt 1902. 2-storey, 3-bay house forming part of terrace. Coursed cream sandstone with polished ashlar dressings. Base course; raised and tabbed window surrounds; cornices with decorative carving above ground floor openings; 1st floor windows breaking eaves; quoin strips.

SE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: doorway at centre with stop-chamfered surround; panelled door; round-arched hoodmoulded stairwindow above, breaking eaves in shaped gabled with stone obelisk finial; date panel "1902" set in gablehead. Single windows in bays to outer left and right; pedimented dormerheads.

Plate glass glazing to sash and case windows; pointed-arch Y-traceried border glazing to stairwindow. Grey slate roof; decorative terracotta ridging; brick ridge stacks to NE and SW; moulded octagonal cans; decorative urn finials to skewputts; original (1902) rainwater goods, including hoppers and decorative downpipe brackets.
