Description
Late 18th century. 2-storey, 3-bay symmetrical rectangular-plan dwelling on corner site, formerly an inn; adjoins single storey store to SW and houses to NW. Harled. Battered base course; raised painted margins.
SE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: bays grouped toward centre; doorway at centre; boarded door; 2-pane letterbox fanlight; single window at 1st floor. Bipartite windows at ground in bays to outer left and right (painted stone mullion); single windows at 1st floor.
NE ELEVATION: single window at 1st floor to left.
Plate glass glazing to sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; harled and coped gablehead stacks to NE and SW; thackstanes; stone gable coping; scroll skewputts; sundial to SE skew.
