1 Bridge Street, East Linton

This late 18th century, two-storey, three-bay house is located at the bottom of the main street in East Linton. It is constructed from random whinstone rubble with ashlar dressings and features painted margins at the ground floor. The central entrance door is accompanied by a second door for a shop to the right, with both doors having strip fanlights above them. Flanking the doors are windows, and there are three additional windows on the first floor. The windows are sash and case style, with plate glass on the ground floor and a 12-pane glazing pattern on the first floor. The roof is covered with grey slates and has straight skews, along with ashlar coped stacks. There is also a single small skylight present.
