Description

This building at 62 George Street in Whithorn dates from around 1800 and is a two-storey, three-bay house that previously included a shop on the ground floor. It is constructed of coursed rubble with painted raised margins and rusticated quoins. The entrance door is located in the center, flanked by enlarged shop windows. To the far right, there is a door pend entry. On the first floor, there are three single light windows. The first-floor windows are sash and case with plate glass glazing, while the ground floor windows have modern plate glass and paired sash and case designs.
