Manseford, Station Road, East Linton

Manseford, located on Station Road in East Linton, is a former manse built in 1847. It is a two-storey building with three bays, and it features a two-storey addition made in 1897, which creates a four-bay elevation. The structure is constructed from random whinstone rubble with cream ashlar dressings, long and short quoins, raised margins, a cornice, and a blocking course.

The front elevation includes a door with a strip fanlight and a consoled cornice. There are windows in the flanking bays at the ground level and one window in each bay on the first floor. An advanced wing on the right side has a canted window at both the ground and first floors. Each side elevation has a single window at the ground floor.

At the rear, there is a two-storey service block from 1890 that projects outward and has irregular openings. The building features plate glass sash and case windows. The roof is covered with grey slates and has a piended design, along with an ashlar coped wallhead and ridge stacks.
