Mill House, Taybridge Terrace, Aberfeldy

Mill House, located on Taybridge Terrace in Aberfeldy, is a former mill house dating from the earlier to mid 19th century. It is a single storey and attic building with a rectangular plan, featuring three bays. The structure is built of random rubble with large rubble quoins and ashlar margins, and the sides and rear are harled.

The southeast elevation, which serves as the entrance, is symmetrical. It has a boarded timber door in the center at ground level, with windows in the flanking bays and regular fenestration above. Each window breaks the eaves into steeply-pitched dormer heads, with the central dormer being smaller. The bays on the left side have been altered.

On the northwest elevation, which is the rear, the harled surface includes a small window in the center at ground level. There is a lower range adjoining at the outer right.

The windows are timber sash and case with a 4-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are coped ashlar stacks with some polygonal cans. The eaves overhang with plain bargeboarding.
