Description
Millburn House, located on Millburn Street in Kirkcudbright, is an early 19th-century former detached mill house. The building is two storeys high and has four bays, with a lower two-storey addition to the north. It is constructed of painted rubble. The entrance is off-centre and features a mid-19th-century bracketed hood. To the left of the door is one window, while to the right there are two windows; the outer first-floor bays each have two windows. The extension has two ground floor windows and one in the outer first-floor bay. The house has 12-pane glazing throughout, although some modern windows have been added later. The roof is slate, with straight skews and modern brick stacks. There is also a rear two-storey wing.
