Description

53-55 St Mary Street in Kirkcudbright is a pair of terraced houses dating from the early 19th century, with some alterations. Each house is two stories high with an attic and features two bays. There is a shared pend between the houses. Numbers 53 and 55 are constructed of painted rubble, while number 57 has painted margins. Number 53 includes a modern shop front. Each house has two first-floor windows and modern wallhead dormers, all under a slate roof.
