Description
These are early 19th-century terraced cottages located on the south side of Maltravers Street. The north elevation is of red brick, with decorative flint and red brick dressings. The roof is tiled, with a red brick chimney. The buildings are two storeys high, featuring a brick eaves cornice with decorative modillions. The first floor has three double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. All ground-floor openings are modern, with the exception of one double-hung sash window in number 73. Numbers 71 and 73 are part of a group with the properties at numbers 45 to 63 (odd), 67 to 73 (odd), and 77 to 83 (odd), along with numbers 46 to 62 (even), the pavements, and the railings.
