  1. Mid C18 [on 1785 map]. South and west elevations mid C19. East elevation nodular flint with red brick dressings. South elevation brick, painted grey. Hipped tile roof. Red brick chimneys. 2 storeys, Brick modillion eaves cornice. South elevation has 3 double-hung sash windows with glazing bars on 1st floor; 2 without glazing bars on ground floor. 1st floor windows have modern louvred shutters, ground floor windows have elaborate cast iron window boxes. Doorway with shouldered architrave, triple keystone and consoles which formerly supported pediment. 4-panelled door with some glazing. Verandah to ground floor of south elevation: upright posts have capitals from which spring 4-centred arches carrying modern lean-to roof; tiled floor. At east end of verandah is a wooden porch to road. Gabled front, supported on Plain posts, tiled floor, flanked by iron railings with spear finials, approached by 6 ashlar steps. Planked door with hand and laurel wreath knocker. Retaining wall to south of garden. red brick with battered brick coping.

Nos 46 to 62 (even) and retaining wall at No 60 forms a group with Nos 45 to 63 (odd) and 77 to 83 (odd) and pavements and railings.
