  1. Late C18 [not on 1785 map]. Red brick with grey headers (Flemish bond). Nodular flint on west side. Hipped tile roof. Late C19 red brick chimney with much cornicing, 2 storeys, basement and attics. Brick modillion cornice. East elevation has 2 doorways, both with panelled Doric pilasters, fluted frieze, dentilled cornice, and false fanlight superimposed over frieze and tympanum area; 6-panelled doors set in plain reveals, south one with 1 brick step with ashlar, north one with lion's head knocker. Ground floor has 2 segment-headed double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, that to north flush framed. 1st floor has 3 flush-framed, segment headed double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. 2 late C19 attic dormers with projecting purlins, overhanging eaves, tiled gables, tile hung sides, and casement windows with glazing bars. South elevation has 1 range of segment-headed double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, 1 segment headed casement with glazing bars, and 1 segment-headed planked door to basement.

Nos 46 to 62 (even) and retaining wall at No 60 form a group with Nos 45 to 63 (odd) and 77 to 83 (odd) and pavements and railings.
