Description

This is a late 16th-century timber-framed house located on The Green in Shamley Green, Wonersh. The ground floor is brick, while the first floor has whitewashed brick and render infill. The roof is tiled and half-hipped at the right end. The house has two storeys, with a stack at the left end and another ridge stack to the right of centre. It has four framed bays, featuring arched bracing on the first floor. The windows are 20th-century diamond-pane, leaded casements with wood mullions and frames; there are four windows on the first floor and five on the ground floor. A half-glazed door is positioned to the right of centre. A single-storey, hip-roofed range projects to the front right, but is not of particular architectural interest.
