Description
Arthur's Cottage is a former granary that has been converted into a cottage, dating from the 18th century. The building is timber framed with thin scantling and features whitewashed render infill. It has a half-hipped roof covered with plain tiles and stands two storeys high, with a stack located to the rear right of the centre. The cottage consists of two framed bays and has two leaded casement windows on the ground floor. To the left, there is a plank door situated under a flat roof porch. Additionally, there is a whitewashed brick pentice on the left end, which includes more casement windows. The cottage is noted for its group value and its contribution to the Village Green.
