Description
Hyde Farm House is an 18th-century house with 20th-century extensions at the rear. It is constructed of red and brown brick, featuring tile hanging on the left-hand return front, which now serves as the entrance front. The building has plain-tiled, half-hipped roofs.
The original entrance front consists of two storeys, with a plat band on the ground floor and brick dentil eaves. There are end stacks, two 3-light leaded casement windows on the first floor, and one 3-light leaded window on the ground floor, along with double casement doors to the right. The former central door has been blocked, and there is a window on the left-hand return front.
The new entrance front features three first-floor leaded casement windows and a shallow hipped roof projection on the ground floor, which includes one 4-light window. A door is located to the right within a gabled porch, and there is a pentice extension attached to the stack. The left side has a ribbed door and another glazed door in the 20th-century extensions.
