Description

Wrotham Hill Cottage is a 17th-century cottage, later extended to the right. It is timber framed and partly built of whitewashed brick with whitewashed render infill to the exposed timber frame above. The roof is tiled and hipped to the left. The cottage has two storeys, with a square blue and brown brick stack to the right of the centre. It has four framed bays, featuring diagonal bracing on the first floor. There are three projecting casement windows to the first floor, and two windows on the ground floor. A plank door is located to the left of the centre. 19th-century extensions, comprising Fir Tree Cottage, are located to the right and are not considered to be of special architectural or historic interest.
