Description
Old Home is a cottage dating from the late 17th century that has been restored and extended to the right in the 20th century. It features a timber frame, with the front clad in red and grey brick on the ground floor and wavy edge tile hanging above, which sweeps out on the lower courses. The roof is plain tiled, hipped to the left with a tile-hung gable to the right, stepping down over the extension. The building is two storeys high, with a central corbelled stack and a front stack to the right. There are four 2-light diamond-pane casement windows on the first floor and four windows below. Plank doors with diamond-pane glazed panels are located to the left and right of the centre. A 20th-century brick single-storey extension is attached to the right.
