Description
Lavender Cottage and Old Well Cottage is an early 17th century house that has been extended and divided in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building features a timber frame, with brick cladding to the right of the center and 18th century brown brick to the left, which is adorned with tile hanging above. There is further tile hanging on the first floor to the right, and the roof is a plain tiled half-hipped design. The house has two storeys and a stack located to the right of the center. On the first floor, there are two casement windows to the left and two windows below. The older part of the building has two windows with cambered heads on the first floor and two below. The right-hand extension has one window on each floor. To the left, there is a ribbed door under a gabled hood supported by brackets, along with garage doors at the left end. A similar ribbed door is located to the right.
