Description

OCKLEY C.P. STANE STREET TQ 14SW The Green 7/230 Rallywood GV II

House. Circa 1840. Grey brick, largely stretcher bond, with plain tiled roofs. Half-H shape plan, with lower red brick extensions to rear. Two storeys with corbelled, diagonal, brick-dentilled stack to ridge left of centre, and rear left of centre. Further rear ridge stack to right of centre. Outer gables projecting, with red brick diamond panel in gables under scroll-edged barge- boards. One 3-light, cambered window on each floor of each gable with margin light tracery and 3-diamond tracery panes to each light. Similar 3-light window to centre of first floor under gabled through-eaves dormer. Single-light window ground floor left and right of centre. Six panel door in wide gabled, barge- boarded, rustic porch.
