Description
Barn Cottage is a cottage with an attached barn, dating from the 17th century. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with weatherboard cladding at the front and red brick at the rear. The building has a plain tiled half-hipped roof and is positioned end-on to The Green, with the cottage at the front and the barn at the rear, both under the same roof. The structure is two storeys high and has a central ridge stack. There are pentices flanking the entrance end. On the first floor, there are two Y-tracery, pointed-arch, leaded casement windows, while three similar windows are located below, each with a fringed canopy above. The door is situated to the left of centre and features two arched lancets in the upper half.
