Description

Watermeads is a 17th-century timber-framed cottage with an L-plan layout, located on the north side of Earith High Street. It features a later adjoining timber-framed barn of two bays at the rear. The building is cased in local brick, with sections of colour-washed brick and modern brick. It has a modern plain tile roof, with an end stack on the left side and a ridge stack. The cottage is one storey with an attic, featuring two modern gabled dormers and three modern casement windows. The entrance includes a six-panelled door set in a moulded architrave, topped by a flat canopy. Inside, the roof timbers and wall frame remain intact.
