Description

41 Back Lane is a cottage with a small barn, dating from the 17th century. It has a timber frame structure, with early 19th century cladding. The upper walls display the exposed frame, while the lower part is made of brickwork in Flemish Garden Wall bond. The barn walls are boarded. The roof is thatched with a half-hipped design and features eyebrow dormers. The south front elevation consists of one storey and an attic, with two windows that are casements. There is a boarded door set in a plain frame. The barn includes a hay-loft door at the front and an entrance in the west gable.
