Description

No. 49 High Street is a cottage dating from the early 17th century. It features a timber frame with brick cladding added in the early 19th and 20th centuries. The exposed frame has brick infill, and the gable ends are also made of brickwork. The cottage has a thatched roof and the east front elevation consists of one storey with an attic, including upper windows in the end gables and two casement windows. There is a boarded door set in a plain frame.
