Description
Seaforth Cottage is a cottage that was originally built in the 17th century and later remodeled in the 19th century. It features a timber frame that is clad in whitewashed roughcast and has a plain tiled roof. The cottage is one storey high with an attic, which is accentuated by two large, steep gabled dormers that contain diamond-pane leaded casement windows. These dormers are adorned with wavy edge bargeboards and spike finials.
There is an end stack on the left side, a rear stack to the right of the center, and an end ridge to the right. The ground floor has four leaded casement windows. To the left of the center, there is a panelled door that leads into a gabled, half-glazed leaded porch. This porch also features pierced wavy edge bargeboards and a pendant finial on the gable. The outer doors are half-glazed double doors with turned mullions. At the back, there is a parallel range and a flat-roofed extension on the left side.
