Description
Rosemary Cottage is a cottage that dates from the late 16th century and 17th century, which has been extended and restored in the 20th century. The building features a timber frame on the center and left sides, with the lower part finished in whitewashed render. Above, there is square panel framing with whitewashed render infilling, and the roofs are plain tiled and half-hipped at the ends. The cottage is two storeys high and has a square stack on the left, a smaller stack on the right, and additional stacks at the rear right. It consists of four framed bays, with two hipped roof dormers at the eaves in the center, featuring diamond-pane, leaded casement windows. There are four two-light windows on the first floor and five windows below, including a square bay window under a hipped roof. The door is located to the right of center and is sheltered by a hipped roof porch. Inside, substantial amounts of framing are exposed, including chamfered spine beams on the ceilings.
