Description
Priorswood is a house dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century. It has a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with brick underbuilding and tile hanging above. The roof is plain tiled, half-hipped to the left and hipped with a gablet to the right. The house has two storeys, featuring stacks to the left of center and at the right end. On the first floor, there are four diamond-pane casement windows, and there are four windows on the ground floor. The left part of the ground floor has brick dentils above it, and there is a door located in the center. The rear of the house has an exposed frame with whitewashed render infilling, showcasing three framed bays with arch bracing on the first floor. The end bay to the right is from the 20th century.
