Description
Abrahams Farm House is a house dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century. It has a timber frame set on a plinth made of rendered brick and sandstone rubble, with whitewashed brick infilling and 20th-century plain-tiled roofs. The house features three framed bays with thick tension bracing on the first floor. It is two storeys high, with an end stack on the right and a main stack to the left of centre. On the first floor, there are three larger diamond-pane leaded casement windows and a smaller chimney window to the left of centre. The ground floor has four windows that are covered by drip hoods. A panelled door is located to the left of centre, sheltered by a pentice hood supported by braces, leading to a lobby entry. The return walls on the first floor are tile hung.
