Description
Little Meadows is a house dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, with 20th-century extensions to the rear that may incorporate an earlier core. The building features a timber frame set on a rendered plinth, with colourwashed render below and tile hanging above. The rear wing has a colourwashed brick underbuild, with colourwashed infill above the exposed frame. It has plain tiled roofs and an L-shaped plan that runs at right angles to the street. The house is two storeys high, with offset stacks located at the left end and rear. There are two diamond-pane leaded windows on the first floor and three windows below, with a door positioned to the right of centre. A pentice extension is located at the right end. On the left-hand return front, which faces the lane, the main posts are visible, and there is one leaded casement window on each floor of the wing.
