Description
White's Farm House is a house dating from the 16th century, with extensions from the 17th century and a 20th-century wing at the rear. It features a timber frame that is underbuilt in brick, with the frame exposed above and red brick infill. The roofs are plain tiled and half-hipped to the right. The building has an L-shaped plan with a cross wing to the left and stands two storeys tall. There is a square stack to the left and additional stacks to the left and rear. The house has three framed bays, with first floor bracing to the right and blocked windows to the left. On the first floor, there are two five-light wood framed, leaded, casement windows, and two below. Each floor of the cross wing has a three-light window. A boarded door is located to the left under a flat, braced hood. The gable end of the cross wing features a queen-post truss. The right-hand return front shows heavy bracing to the first floor on the left, with a 20th-century brick extension to the right and rear.
