Description
This is a 17th-century barn located 30 metres northeast of Bridgefoot Farm House. It has been altered and restored in the 19th and 20th centuries. The barn features a timber frame on a brick plinth, with some weatherboard cladding on the right and brick cladding in the centre and left sections. It has a fine, plain-tiled roof that steps down on the north side. The structure consists of two 3-bay barns placed end to end under a common roof. The western barn, which is on the left, has three unequal bays with aisles and wain doors on both sides of the centre bay, with the door on the south side (facing the road) covered by a hipped roof. Inside, there is windbracing in the end bay of the western barn and a Queen strut roof in the end bay of the eastern barn.
