Description

CHARLBURY SP3519 CHURCH LANE 5/21 (East side) St Benets (alias Prospect View) GV II

House. Probably late C18 with later alterations. Coursed squared rubble, timber lintels; stone slate roof. 2 storeys and attic; 2-window range. C19 half-glazed door to right has hood with moulded cornice on consoles. Tri-panrile window with large-paned sashes to left under a long timber lintel. 2 first-floor sash windows with margin lights flank an earlier blocked window. Central half-dormer has similar sashes with horns. Gable- end chimney (rebuilt, C20) to left. Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
