Description
Linden House is a mid-19th century house located on Dyer's Hill in Charlbury. It is constructed from coursed squared rubble and has a slate roof. The building stands two storeys high and features a two-window range. The front door, which is half-glazed, is topped by a hood with a moulded cornice supported by consoles. To the left, there is a bay window with large panes that include glazing bars, while to the right is a sash window with large panes. The first floor has casement windows, all of which are set beneath flat stone lintels with keystones. The house is capped by two tall brick chimneys at the gable ends. There is also a single-storey lean-to extension on the right side. The interior has not been inspected. Linden House is included for its group value and is shown on the Ordnance Survey map as Lyndon.
