Description
The Lawn is a house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, with later alterations and additions. It is constructed of coursed squared rubble, featuring timber lintels and a hipped stone slate roof. The building stands three storeys tall and has a five-window range that is positioned at right angles to the street. There are panelled doors on both the right and left sides. The ground and first floors have scattered casement windows, one of which includes simple balcony railings. The second floor features casements with leaded lights. A central brick chimney is present, and there is a large lean-to-glazed porch on the left side. To the right, a two-storey extension includes a tall lancet stair window with stained glass border lights. Inside, there are two plain staircases with square bannisters located to the left and right of the entrance hall.
