Description
Kimbell House is a house that likely dates from the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. The building is constructed of coursed squared rubble, with larger blocks used on the second floor, and features timber lintels and a slate roof. Originally, it was probably two storeys tall but was later raised to three storeys. The façade has a symmetrical two-window range. A 19th-century half-glazed door is situated between square-fronted bay windows that have large panes and glazing bars. The first floor has casement windows with large panes under earlier lintels, while the second floor features smaller windows under the eaves, which have casements with glazing bars and an added brick stack. The interior has not been inspected.
