Description

Armada Cottage is a house that was formerly part of the Talbot Inn, dating back to 1587. The building is constructed of coursed squared rubble with timber lintels and features a stone slate roof. It has two storeys and an attic, with a gable-fronted range that has one window. To the left of the central 19th-century bay window, which has large-paned sash windows and is covered by a continuous hood, there is a six-panelled door. The first floor and attic have casement windows. The left side elevation includes similar casements, a stone chimney finished in brick, and a high-level gabled dormer. The interior has not been inspected.
