Description

Talbot Farm is a house that was formerly an inn, dating from the 16th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with timber lintels and has a stone slate roof. The building is a single storey with an attic and features a three-window range. There is a cross-passage with a plank door to the left. The ground floor has three-light casements on either side of two mullioned and transomed casements, all of which have leaded lights. The roof has three flush-fronted gabled dormers, each with small three-light casements. There are two rendered ridge chimneys that are finished in brick. Inside, the building has chamfered spine beams and infilled fireplaces, while other features may be hidden due to 19th-century remodelling.
