Description
Frieston is a house dating from the 17th century, with later alterations. It is constructed from coursed squared limestone rubble and features timber lintels, topped by a 20th-century concrete tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an irregular arrangement of windows. The entrance front, which faces at right angles to the street, has a four flush panelled door located to the right of the centre. To the right of the door is a large-paned sash window, while the ground floor window to the left is obscured by a lean-to garage addition. On the first floor, there is a casement window to the right, which is set under a chamfered lintel. The house has an external gable and stack on the left side, with another end stack on the right. The garden front features a regular two-window layout with a central doorway, renewed cross windows on both floors, and two dormer windows. The interior has not been inspected.
