Description
The Pharmacy is a house that likely dates from the 17th century, with a 19th-century front range and later alterations. It features a painted brick facade, coursed squared rubble at the rear, and has both slate and plain tile roofs with two brick chimneys. The building is L-shaped and has two storeys with a four-window range of large-paned sashes that include horns. The central 19th-century shop front has a half-glazed door flanked by windows with vertical glazing bars, topped with a dentilled cornice. The rear wing contains two three-light windows with iron-framed casements and early glass, as well as iron ties. There are 20th-century additions at the rear. Inside, some timbers are exposed, but the roof structure is not visible.
